Hey to all FGA Members!
The FGA Annual Membership Meeting will be held on March 7th, Sunday, starting at 7:30 am with coffee & donuts as always at the Tampa Tribune Outdoor Expo, hosted by Frank Sargeant, Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa (I-4 & US 301). We owe a huge “Thank You” to these fine people for their contribution to the FGA. We will be entering the Fairgrounds thru the Orient Road Exhibitor Entrance and tell the gate attendant you are attending the Florida Guides Association meeting. Enter the building thru the front exhibitor side door and proceed to the Back Exhibition Room and Seminar Stage. This meeting is always open to any interested charter captains, recreational anglers, friends or clients.
The meeting agenda will have FGA elections, fishery & access issues, FWC Officer of the Year Award, and guest speakers. There will also be open discussion and questions on many of the issues we are faced with. Please attend this important meeting and bring another fishing guide or recreational angler with you!
Since this organization was founded in 1991 over Snook and other fishery regulations, the FGA has addressed many more important issues for ALL recreational anglers. Please do your best to attend this important meeting and don’t forget we will have a booth set up at the show on Friday Saturday and Sunday! Send an email to Capt. If you would like to help in the booth please let us know before hand. Come by, put your cards in the rack, renew your membership, buy FGA merchandise, and help promote the FGA and our mission. “Dedicated to promoting the conservation and wise use of Florida’s Fishery Resources.”
